Jen-Line LCF

Jen-Line LCF is a radiopaque light-curing one-component liner and base material containing calcium hydroxide, calcium hydroxyapatite, complex fluorides and adhesive promoters in a unique, urethane dimethacrylate formula. The liner has excellent bonding to dentine and is highly biocompatible

INDICATIONS

As a liner or base in prepared cavities.

INSTRUCTION

Prepare the cavity, clean and dry it thoroughly. Care should be taken to ensure that no traces of eugenol are left in the cavity. Jen-Line LCF lining material should not be used in combination with the eugenol-containing materials. It is therefore recommended to use eugenol-free temporary cements.
Put the required portion of Jen-Line LCF on a mixing pad shortly before the application. Avoid exposure to daylight as it may cause premature setting of the material. Apply a layer of the Jen-Line LCF to the dentine using a small round condenser. Jen-Line LCF should be applied to dentine only. Do not apply it to enamel.
The layer thickness should not exceed 1 mm. Should a thicker lining is necessary, apply and cure several subsequent layers. Each layer should be light-cured separately. Jen-Line LCF is cured by a special dental light unit (halogen, LED, etc.). The light guide should be positioned as close as possible to the liner. When the light guide is 2 mm above the liner surface, cure the liner for 20 seconds at least. When light guide is 5 mm above the liner surface, the curing time should be extended to 30 - 40 seconds. Due to high opacity of Jen-Line LCF the curing time should not be less than 20 seconds under any circumstances.

RESTORATION WITH USE OF MATERIAL JEN-LINE LCF

The initial situation: the patient N. went to the clinic with a complaint about multiple caries of the upper and lower jaw teeth. When examined on many teeth of the chewing group, carious cavities were revealed, but the patient complained of short-term acute pains from food irritants on teeth 3.6 and 4.6.


1. Carious cavity ll class, tooth 3.6.	2. Disclosure of a carious cavity at the bottom of which a carious-altered pigmented dentin is visible.	3. Due to the deep location of the cavity, a partially pigmented dense dentin is left at the bottom of the cavity to avoid opening the pulp chamber.

4. Treatment of enamel (30 sec) and dentine (15 sec) with PhosphoJen AS orthophosphoric acid and subsequent application of an adhesive system Jen-Unibond.	5-6. To prevent the occurrence of complications of caries on the bottom of the cavity, a calcium-containing gasket Jen-Line LCF.

7-8. Modeling of the tubercles of the tooth cavity 3.6 is made with an opaque layer of Jen-Radians of A3-O color in several layers to the level of the dentine transfer to the tooth enamel.		9. The end of the restoration of the Jen-Radians photopolymer material with a shade of enamel A1-E, followed by grinding and polishing with elastic bands and brushes Jiffy (Ultradent).
