OUTSTANDING FEATURES OF THE MATERIAL
- Provides the both remineralizing and desensitizing effects
- Contains anticaries fluoride compounds which correspond to about 1100 ppm of fluoride ions
- Possesses the neutral pH excluding the irritation of gingival tissue
- The presence of hydrogen peroxide in the gel composition provides the light whitening effect
- Sweetened and flavored composition
- Possesses the antigingivitis activity
- The remineralization treatment is ideal as a procedure followed by the teeth bleaching
INDICATIONS
- Caries prevention of tooth decay and milk molars;
- Caries in the stage of spot;
- Pathological abrasion of teeth (bruxism when);
- High sensitivity of the teeth;
- In the process of orthodontic treatment and at its end;
- After the professional care;
- Before and after teeth whitening;
- Fluorosis;
- Erosion of the enamel
INSTRUTIONS FOR USE
Pre-treatment procedure
Before remineralization session, a diagnosis should be performed. The calculus and external stains must be removed. If tissue is traumatized, wait some days before the treatment to minimize the soft tissue trauma caused by tray application. The oral cavity is necessary to sanitize: treat all destroyed by the process of carious teeth, eliminate traumatic factors.
Manufacture the soft vinyl tray using the routine laboratory procedure. Instruct patient on the remineralization procedure. Explain treatment regime: teeth cleaning, tray loading, application of Zuremin-CaPF, and tray care. The time required for complete remineralization treatment depends mainly on the level of deminralization or pre-existing carious condition and it’s severity. It is recommended to evaluate patients every 4-5 days of treatment to determine the duration of remineralization treatment. The appropriate vitamin and micro-mineral diet applied together with remineralization is recommended.
PACKING
Set 2 x 5 ml syringes (Component A and Component B)
Clinical use
PROCEDURE
- Take the syringe out of the packaging the two A and B and a plastic mixing bowl (Figure 1).
- Enter into a mixing equal amount of components from syringes A and B (Figure 2,3).
- Mix for 20 seconds to obtain a uniform mass (Figure 4). The slightly opalescent appearance of mixture indicates the presence of active amorphous calcium fluorophosphate compounds – the evidence that mixture is ready to application.
- Apply the gel obtained by rubbing or in individual tray, according to the procedures described in the Figure 5.
- Avoid over-filling the tray. Install the tray to the teeth (Figure 6). Remove excess gel (if it goes beyond tray) using a toothbrush or cloth.
- Duration of the procedure depends on your clinical situation and is set by your doctor. The most preferable is 1-3 hour remineralization session per a day or bedtime.
- After the procedure is complete, remove the tray, rinse it well with cold water and put in a special box.
- Rince the mouth gently with warm water (or better - the saliva that had gathered).
Attention!
You may also apply the mixed Zuremin CaPF with a soft rotary brush as a procedure followed to professional teeth cleaning.
